Spacious Sound - Articulation of Space in Motion

Through exploration of watercolor washes and charcoal mapping, this vertical datum begins to dissect the musical score of “Fireworks” by Nicholas Hooper. Programs within this construct are also musical, showing the different stages of practice and performance. There is an evident rhythm, reflected by the beat of the score, that begins to add structure to what seems like a chaotic fragment. Much like the musical and creative journey, the datum is not linear. The programs are scattered throughout, with the explosion of the main performance linking them back to the central core.
